The Leverkusen composer Michael Porr is known - not least for his impressive Requiem (BU 2647) - for his vocal movements of great depth of expression and emotionality. These characteristics also distinguish his new composition about Luther's timeless peace text. In order to intensify the musical process, the movement contains a few divisions of voices, but no technical or intonatory difficulties. The elegantly used solo instrument (preferably flugelhorn) gives the movement an additional sound stimulus, which makes the request for peace even more impressive.
