Mozart's G minor Symphony is not only one of his most famous orchestral works, but also one of the most popular classical compositions of all. This is mainly due to the head movement, which is as energetic as it is enthusiastic, and is presented here in an exemplary arrangement for organ for four hands. The transcription, created with great musical sensitivity, preserves the original substance of the movement, but gives it a completely new appeal by making effective use of the tonal possibilities of the (two-manual) organ.
