The well-known Edith Stein text, in which the praying woman entrusts herself to God's guidance in every situation in life, inspired Lambert Kleesattel to write a three-part choral song of great tranquillity and depth of expression. The easy to sing movement in a comfortable ambitus and the calmly flowing organ accompaniment are congenially tuned to the textual message: Trusting in God's counsel and plan leads people to serenity and inner strength.
