Swanee River's Other Side' is a rather surprising arrangement of the well-known traditional 'Swanee River'. In this arrangement in fugue form, flavoured with some classical music hints, several swing and funky items have been added. The music is harmonically supported by contemporary jazzy chords. A completely written out solo for trombone supplied with chord symbols, provides an extra swinging item and is certainly a stimulating challenge for any talented trombone player (or any other instrumentalist, providing some adaptations).
