Der Konzertmarsch «Centenary» ist eine Auftragskomposition der Firma Landis & Gyr zum 100-Jahr-Jubiläum 1896-1996. Thematisch wird darin mehrmals das aus dem Sprechrhythmus des Firmennamens «Landis & Gyr» abgeleitete Jubiläums-Tonsignet verwendet.
Die Uraufführung erfolgte anlässlich der Jubiläums-Generalversammlung vom 22.3.1996 unter der Leitung von Yves Illi durch die Kadettenmusik der Stadt Zug (Blasorchester der städtischen Musikschule) zusammen mit der Werkmusik «Musigyr».
