The work consists of three parts. The first part describes the creation, the manufacture of a robot army. This is realized especially by the percussion with many special instruments and with many effects in the brass section.
After a short period of rest, the second part leads to warlike conflicts between the robots and the humans. The wild battle surges back and forth, a rapid melody illustrates the mercilessness of the machines in battle. But little by little the humans gain the upper hand. In a brilliant final manoeuvre, they finally defeat the robots.
The victorious humans gather and become aware of their victory. Joy and relief flows through them and makes them laugh again. With a big party they celebrate the victory and dance to the funky rhythms and solis of the band.
