If you are looking for new, substantial material, you are guaranteed to find it in this extensive collection: The textual models for the eight hymns come from Scripture as well as from well-known poets from Friedrich von Spee to Edith Stein, which ensures a wide range of possible uses at chasubles as well as church services, devotions and concerts "throughout the year". Due to the comfortable middle register, all works are within reach of almost every singer. Lambert Kleesattel's music does the rest: it lets performers and listeners revel in (neo-)romantic sounds, and so it is to be expected that some of these songs will soon be on the "wish lists" sent to singers.
