The Missa "Rorate coeli desuper" Hob. XXiI:3 could be one of Joseph Haydn's earliest works, but its attribution to Haydn is disputed. The short mass is based on the complete Mass Ordinary. It was therefore suitable both for the so-called Rorate offices (without Credo) and for Sunday masses during Advent (without Gloria). The score also contains the organ part.
