His Masters March starts in 2/4 with a roguish theme that puts chromaticism and syncopation to the fore. Then there is a bass solo, followed by a trio in a 6/8 metre. The syncopated rhythm gives a swinging character to this trio. This is an easy and attractive march by Wim Laseroms.
