Do Remember Me is a new creation in the two-beat gospel style of a cult Afro-American spiritual from the late 19th century with the original title DO LORD or DO LORD REMBER ME. A little later, in the early 20th century, another song, "This Little Light Of Mine", was written with the same chords as DO LORD. Both songs were revived during the American civil rights movement and sung at peaceful protests and marches. American composer and arranger James L. Hosay has written a lively and rousing version of this popular American hymn.
