This world famous song is either of Scottish or Irish origin. Whether the text refers to the emotion caused by the conversion of John Newton or to the joy caused by the rescue of a sailor in danger can not be proved scientifically any more today. Anyway, this song is sung by many people all over the world as a Hymn of Grace (to the Creator). This version is extremely well suited as an encore for your next concert
