Michael Klostermann is a fixture in the folk brass band scene and became known for his unique interpretation of traditional Bohemian brass band music. In 1984, he founded his own orchestra from a group of outstanding musicians, which quickly became the epitome of authentic, passionate music-making at the highest level under the name "Michael Klostermann and his musicians". As a composer, he has written numerous polkas, waltzes and marches. With his polka "Tage zum Träumen" (Days to Dream), which he composed together with Hans Bruss and wrote the lyrics for with Simone Schwindt, he takes us into a world full of joy and lightness, where the music invites us to dream and dance.
