Movement I: March Faust, as a king, - fulfilled in his own power, as rich as possible - receives the homage and gift of his subjects in the splendor of Louis XIV.
Movement II: Mirror pas de deux. Mefisto wants the man's desire and love to revive in Faust, when the Ideal Woman in the mirror appears, but as soon as the love could develop, Mefisto lets the portrait of the woman from the mirror disappear.
Movement III: Aphrodite's farewell. Aphrodite, - the symbol of the fulfilled, ripe Woman, after the loss of her son, Icarus, takes leave of the world, before she returns to the underworld.
Movement IV: Finale/The Pub. The country pub, and the trunken guests are the surroundings to imagine and experience the joy of the amusement, as a part of the life.
