"In this motet, I deliberately proceeded from the Gregorian chant. Especially towards the end of the piece motives from this chorale appear more and more often - mostly sung by the soloists. The chorale from my ancient 'Laudate' (forerunner of the KG and KGB), illustrated here with the German text, served as a model".

The 3 soloist are singing in different places in the room. In a church for example: tenor on the pulpit, soprano in the back on the right side, alto in the back on the left side. Thus this choral work gains depth and becomes a sound experience for performers and audience.
