The Polish born composer Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849) is being considered the biggest composer in the history of Poland. His works, regarded as the sample of Romance, consist almost entirely of pieces for solo piano. His Grand Valse Brillante (his first waltz composition) is the longest and most virtuoso of all and was composed in 1831. Willy Hautvast has produced a beautiful version of this piece for concert bands.
