In fact, this 'rondo' does not correspond to the general 'rondo form'; it rather contains a number of witty variations.
This approximately ten-minute concert piece begins with an 'Allegro grazioso' and later changes to an 'Adagio' and an 'Allegro' which requires just shortly before the final again the starting pace.
Italian arranger Gottfried Veit transcribed this rondo for piano with accompaniment of a small symphonic band. The instrumentation - with some instruments scored as optional - is in full respect to the original.
